My name is Dagmar and I live in Tenerife for most of the year. Thanks to my trips around the islands, I know all of the Canary Islands. In the past, my unforgettable and daring Labrador Lasko accompanied me on all my travels. He passed away in 2023 at the age of 15.5. Since December 2024, my beloved hiking dog Falco has been by my side, but sadly he died very young in a tragic accident in June 2025. Now, since September 2025, I have been accompanied by Dori, who, like Falco, comes from an animal shelter. As I live near the Teno Mountains, I know almost every corner of this area. But I am always on the lookout for new paths and interesting sights to discover on the islands.<\/p>\n\n\n

I enjoy photography and writing and love hiking on Tenerife. From time to time I also go cycling in the mountains. I would like to write here for all people who, like me, love the Canary Islands and enjoy hiking. I hope that I can give you good and valuable information and make your tour on the islands easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Check whether the route is suitable for yourself (fitness, physical condition).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Clothing and footwear must be suitable for hiking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Take enough food and water with you<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • If possible, only hike with a companion and inform family or friends about the route.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Remember: Hiking in nature involves risks. You hike at your own risk. Be careful and call the emergency services (112) in case of an emergency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
